This individual is responsible for operational, administrative, and technical support. This is an ideal step for anyone looking to be exposed to various investment management aspects.

Responsibilities:

  • Update client accounts daily with new transactions from the previous day.
  • Maintain the client section of the firm’s website to ensure accurate data reporting.
  • Use the portfolio management software to create accounts on the firm’s system.
  • Perform frequent reconciliations between data on the portfolio management system
    and data at the custodians, where assets are held.
  • Process corporate reorganizations and split transactions to maintain cash, share, and
    cost basis reconciliation.
  • Setup new and close old accounts on the portfolio management system.
  • Enter security details and categories such as asset class, sector, and yield for new
  • Aggregate yearly tax information to send to clients.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute quarterly statements and billing invoices.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years investment/wealth management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree, designations all preferred.
  • Familiar with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).
  • Desired traits include client service mentality, self-starter, and sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
