Judson Group has partnered with a fast growing RIA with over $7B in AUM located in San Diego in the search for a Senior Director, Client Service Operations – Wealth Management. This candidate will have the unique role of leading a nationwide team of Managers and Client Service Specialists and refining the underlying processes and systems. In addition to people leadership, this role will be responsible for partnering with the COO to develop a future vision for the department.
The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role with a $10B+ RIA scaling client service teams and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the overall Client Service department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and productivity
- Continuously look for ways to improve and grow the Client Service department in ways that serve Financial Advisors and clients
- Be a team leader, ensuring to inspire and motivate the Client Service department by enhancing the people, culture, and skills
- Develop and manage direct reports to achieve department goals
- Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors, clients, and custodians to process client requests and resolve issues
- Maintain client data ensuring accuracy, security, and timeliness
Requirements:
- 20+ years experience with a financial services or RIA firm supporting HNW/UHNW clients
- 5+ years experience leading a client service teams
- Knowledge of back-office operations of a financial planning and investment management firm
- Excellent technology skills: Typing proficiency, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
- Experienced user of Fidelity Wealthscape and/or Charles Schwab Institutional preferred
- Ability to work independently, with little oversight, within demanding time deadlines
Compensation: Base salary based on experience with benefits package
