    Judson Group has been retained by a prominent financial advisory firm in the search for a Chief Investment Officer/Senior Advisor. The CIO/Senior Advisor will primarily be responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the firms’ investment programs. The CIO/Senior Advisor will work closely with the firm’s founder to improve the investment process and client experience.

    The ideal candidate has CIO experience as well as broad financial planning capabilities. Candidates should have strong technical skills, leadership experience, and extensive client/prospect facing experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Directs the firm’s investment programs.
    • Manages all investment related projects and initiatives.
    • Oversees the trading and rebalancing of client accounts.
    • Researches and evaluates a wide range of investment securities including equities, fixed income, private equity, and private placements.
    • Creates and manages in-house model portfolios.
    • Participates in client/prospect meetings on an as needed basis.
    • Development of customized and comprehensive personal investment plans.
    • Works with clients to develop customized financial plans and service them as needed.
    • Consult with the team on complex investment planning scenarios.
    • Active in investment areas including research and acquisition of new business.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree and financial designations highly preferred.
    • CFP and/or CFA strongly preferred.
    • Experience as a CIO highly preferred and experience in investment and asset management at a senior level.
    • Strong experience working with HNW and Institutional clients.
    • Deep knowledge of investment strategies, investment solutions, private markets, and the wealth management industry.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Profound presentation abilities with executive presence.

    Compensation: Attractive compensation package with base salary and bonus.
