Judson Group has been retained by a boutique fee-only wealth management firm in the search for a Lead Advisor to manage existing client relationships. This individual will work closely with firm Partners to transition client relationships and will be responsible for financial planning and investment management duties. The ideal candidate has experience leading client relationships, a background in financial planning, and exposure to business development. There is a path to partnership at the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain client relationships, converting prospects into clients of the firm.
- Work with client support team to provide an exceptional client experience.
- Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented.
- Analyze client data to understand trends and develop and prepare complex financial plans and recommendations based on findings.
- Strong knowledge in the areas of financial planning, asset allocation investment strategies and account administration, tax and estate planning, charitable giving, education funding, and retirement planning.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree, advanced degree preferred.
- CFP required; CFA a plus.
- 4+ years of experience with a wealth management firm, family office, or RIA.
- Strong financial planning/investment experience.
- Track record of successful business development.
- Experience with CRM, financial planning software, and portfolio accounting software.
