Compliance Officer

The Judson Group has partnered with a respected bank located in Mid-Michigan in the search for a Compliance Officer. The selected candidate will be overseeing the compliance of the financial institution, preparing and monitoring reports, and ensure the bank adheres to all federal and state compliance requirements. They will also work with management on corrective action plans regarding identified issues.

Responsibilities:
• Implement the compliance program in adherence with federal and state compliance requirements, ensuring compliance with CRA, BSA and all other regularity requirements
• Oversee members of the Compliance department, and collaborate with the examination team  and other staff members
• Responsible for reviewing and revising bank policies, procedures, materials and website to adhere with compliance guidelines
• Review departmental processes and disclosures for compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and policies
• Maintain current awareness of legislative developments and a working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations

Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in bank compliance, internal auditing and/or bank examination
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Organizational skills needed to handle work in an efficient manner. High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet principal accountabilities with limited direction and oversight.

Location: Mid-Michigan
