BSA/AML Officer

The Judson Group has partnered with a growing, dynamic $1 Billion+ financial institution in the West Michigan area in the search for a BSA/AML Officer. Successful candidates should be excellent team players with a strong personality for leadership. The position reports directly to the Chief Risk Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the BSA/AML compliance program including day to day operational compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Manage and monitor BSA staff and ensure all staff are trained and informed in BSA/AML/OFAC.

• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence and track customers/accounts identified as high risk.

• Perform duties in compliance with security policies and procedures.

• Assist in monitoring suspicious activity and responsible for filing appropriate documentation.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.

• 3+ years successful BSA/AMLCIP/OFAC experience.

• Strong ability to research, analyze, monitor, and investigate suspicious activity.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid interpersonal skills and organizational skills needed to handle work in an efficient manner.  High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet principal accountabilities with limited direction and oversight.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
